GEOTECH is a professional services firm offering traditional geotechnical engineering
services in a broad range of soil and foundation studies, geologic assessments
and construction materials quality control. In addition to the founders,
other senior professionals include Ralph
Mock, Engineering Geologist, Dan
Hardin, P.E. , Associate, Dave
Herman, P.E. , Associate, Louis
Eller, C.E.T., Field Exploration Supervisor, and Alan Lisowy, P.E., Office Manager as
well as other engineers, certified technicians and support staff.
Our staff experience and extensive testing capabilities in our offices allow us to provide effective services on a wide variety of projects. These include soil investigations for building foundations,
mining facilities, roads, airfields, pipelines, transmission towers, earthworks,
dams, and other civil works. Geologic hazard assessment experience includes
slope stability, debris flow, snow avalanche, rockfall, sinkhole and
mine subsidence. We believe it is important to follow through with construction
observations and testing and, therefore, we offer construction quality
control which includes earthwork, concrete, steel, fireproofing and asphalt
testing, laboratory materials testing and site observations by engineers.
Developing and maintaining client loyalty is our primary
goal. This involves understanding client needs, project details,
and site conditions. Effective communication is an essential part
of this service. Even though geotechnical engineering has advanced into
this highly technical era, much of what we do is basic and the experience
factor makes the difference.
